Haven 'offers more for adults' ? Motorcaravan insurance

With an increase in the number of people opting to stay in Britain for their holidays, Haven caravan parks has experienced an increase in visitors.

Although Haven usually caters for families and children, it now offers more activities for adults, holders of motorcaravan insurance may be interested to know.

The holiday parks provide bars, sporting facilities and spas for those who want a break without children, as well as fishing lakes at the larger caravan sites.

Haven has recently opened a new spa at Rockley Park near Poole where guests can experience treatments and facilities including a relaxation garden.

There are also golf courses at several of the parks and all of the sites have swimming facilities. Tennis, horse riding, fencing and archery are also available.

People wishing to visit a Haven holiday park for a short break have the option of getting away to one of 35 parks situated around the UK.

Bourne Leisure, which operates Haven UK caravan park businesses, saw profits rise to £103 million last year, an increase of 6.7 percent from 2006.
