Caravan to help those in need ? Campervan insurance

A charity is running a scheme where deserving people can have a break in the new caravan it bought six months ago, it has been reported.

Give2give, which funds local projects, paid for the caravan at Coombe Haven Holiday Park near Hastings, the News Shopper reports.

Holders of campervan insurance may be interested to know the caravan will provide anyone who is suffering from illness or hardship a break from their everyday lives.

Carrie Moore, charity director, told the source it has already had a man recovering from cancer and his wife stay there and also a lone parent with three children.

"There has to be a good need for them but we haven't turned anybody down yet, apart from if they are severely disabled because it's not adapted for that."

Modern technology, including central heating and running water, is a feature of the caravan, reports the website.

Give2give runs four charity shops specialising in second-hand furniture and uses the proceeds to fund community projects and help individuals.
