Caravan holidays 'top choice' for Brits ? Campervan insurance

A recent survey has revealed Britons are swapping holidays abroad for a break in the UK, with caravan holidays coming out top in one category.
In news that may interest holders of campervan insurance, holidays at campsites were voted the top choice for couples or parents in their 30s.
The poll showed Wales is the most popular destination for those planning to stay at a caravan and camping site, with 24 per cent of adults planning to visit the country.
News of an increase in the popularity of these holidays came as it was revealed 65 per cent of Britons will be taking a cheap UK holiday in the next year.
The most popular choice is a cottage holiday with 26 per cent planning this, ahead of 23 per cent opting for UK seaside town breaks.
Caravan and caravan park holidays came in third with 20 percent choosing them and camping followed closely in fourth, with 17 per cent intending to pitch tents.
In recent news the Caravan Club revealed out of season holidays to campsites have increased in popularity as the credit crunch hits families.
