Star's caravan trip suffers a bad start ? Motorhome insurance online

Actor Matthew McConaughey was about to set off on a family road trip with his caravan when his pick-up truck would not start, it has been reported.

In news which may interest those looking for motorhome insurance online, the star called in the mechanics and was soon on his way, according to the Mail Online.

The 38-year-old was planning a cross-country trip with and his girlfriend Camila Alves, 24, and their two-month-old son Levi.

McConaughey is well-known for his travels in his silver mobile home and sets the vehicle up when he arrives on movie sets, the source says.

He told US magazine Architectural Digest his caravan, which he has customised with a satellite dish and barbecue, is a beautiful piece of art and aerodynamically very functional.

The actor bought his mobile home, which comprises luxury living space, bedroom, bathroom, dining and lounge areas, in 2004, it is reported.

McConaughey ironically stared in the 2006 movie Failure to Launch alongside Sarah Jessica Parker.
