Banks offer cheap motor relief

Banks are becoming the first port of call for many people shopping around for cheap motor insurance deals.

Most banks offer a range of financial services for their customers including a number of insurance facilities, and motor insurance is now becoming increasingly popular because of the competitive rates offered by banks.

By building on the loyalty customers have to their current account provider, banks have been able to establish a corner in the market for themselves and many people find it easier to use banks as a "one-stop-shop" for their financial needs.

This has helped to make the UK's insurance market one of the most competitive in Europe, something that many motorists will welcome as the increased choice gives them the opportunity to shop around and find the best deal for them.
