Van insurance that offers extras

A number of extras and benefits are being provided to customers who opt for van insurance from a certain provider, it has emerged.

Those looking for a van insurance quote may benefit from the news that the Post Office has created a new policy which includes a 24-hour claims helpline and accident assistance should it be necessary.

In addition, for a limited period drivers can take advantage of £50 cash back with any new policy and optional breakdown cover from the RAC.

A physiotherapy recovery programme is also included should a driver be involved in an accident and need medical attention, which the Post Office claims should help them get back in working order as quickly as possible.

"We know how important it is for them to keep moving and trading if they have an accident," said Clare Oldstein, head of communications at Post Office Financial Services.

In related news, van drivers in Winyates are being advised to ensure their insurance policies cover any tools left in the vehicle, after there were two recent thefts in the area, the Redditch Advertiser reports.
