Home insurance firm launches survey

Those looking to switch or renew their home insurance policy may be interested in completing a survey from Legal & General (L&G), which aims to collect information on people's household safety and security.
The Safe as Houses questionnaire is currently running on the internet and offers all entrants access to a prize draw if they fill in the relevant questions.
It is intended to provide improved understanding of what precautions homeowners are taking to protect their property and its contents.
Many householders choose to purchase buildings insurance and home contents insurance from the same provider, although this is not compulsory.
"Knowing our customers' concerns will help us to meet the changing needs of today's modern home, by developing products and services that let busy Brits get on with their lives, knowing their home is safe," said Ruth Wilkins, head of communications for general insurance business at L&G.
The survey runs until July 9th 2007.
