'Make home insurance one less thing to worry about'

Almost a third (32 per cent) of women have stated that they have issues sleeping at night, new research from Legal & General has indicated.
The fast-paced life of many females has been identified as a possible contributor to the inability to drop off, as many women must juggle working, socialising, running a home and motherhood.
Ruth Wilkins, head of communications at the general insurance sector of Legal & General, comments that the varied ways in which lives are led may affect sleeping patterns and as such advises women to check that their home insurance reflects their lifestyle.
"Hopefully knowing that their household insurance cover is in place and at an adequate level may also mean that there is one less thing to worry about and so also help get that peaceful night's sleep," she adds.
In related news, the firm recently identified the changing role of the kitchen in consumers' lives, noting that some 28 per cent of Britons have a television or stereo in the room and as such recommending that home insurance policies reflect changes in lifestyle.
