Protect romantic gifts, says Direct Line

Consumers have been urged to ensure that costly Valentine's Day presents are protected to avoid heartache on the romantic day.
Home insurance provider Direct Line notes that Brits are readying themselves to spend £1.32 billion on their loved ones for February 14th and that £467 million will be spent on jewellery alone.
Top tips from the firm to protect valuables include getting jewellery periodically valued by an insurer and keeping them in a safe place when it is not being worn.
Andrew Lowe, head of Direct Line Home Insurance, comments that insurance may well be the last thing on consumers' minds on Valentine's Day.
However, he adds: "Having the right cover in place could prevent heartache if the unthinkable happens and that precious item is lost or stolen."
Sainsbury's Home Insurance recently advised consumers to ensure they have adequate property cover in light of the recent poor weather that has affected many regions of the UK.
