People in Leeds who are looking to avoid claims on their motorhome insurance may be interested to hear a caravan storage firm is expanding it business.
Leeds Caravan Storage has taken over a 5.8-acre storage site in Worksop to allow it house an additional 380 caravans, touring caravans and motorhomes, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The company also has plans to expand the site to make room for another 120 caravans and motorhomes, while it is considering setting up a caravan workshop on the site.
According to Karen McFadden, who founded Leeds Caravan Storage with her husband Paul, the new site will operate alongside the firm's existing storage base in Kirkstall Valley in Leeds, which can house 271 vehicles.
Mrs McFadden told the newspaper: "The new site in Worksop is a well-established business that has provided a great service to its customer base for over 20 years."
She also revealed the company has bought land in another part of Yorkshire to create more storage space for motorhomes and caravans.
Last week, the Lancashire Telegraph reported a garden centre in Burnley has applied for permission to build a caravan park which could site 200 vehicles.
