A Yorkshire businessman has been accused of stealing caravans and motorhomes, it has been reported.
Iain Thane, 44 years old and from Settle, has been charged with 19 counts of theft over caravans and motorhomes which were allegedly stolen or sold when he was in charge of Ewood Caravans, according to the Blackburn Citizen.
Mr Thane is accused of stealing 16 caravans, two motor-homes and a trailer, which were worth a combined total of £191,000, when at the Blackburn-based firm.
Police launched an investigation into the businessman after customers reported their vehicles had been stolen shortly after being left at his shop, the newspaper reports, although it is not known how many of the victims held motorhome insurance.
Mr Thane is expected to appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court on August 4 over the allegations.
Earlier this month, Peterborough police warned motorhome owners to be aware after two thefts in the area, the Evening Telegraph reported.
