Burglar busted in bed - Household insurance cover

A thief was nicknamed 'Goldilocks' by police when a family he was raiding returned home and found him asleep in a bed, which may those with interest home insurance and a sense of humour.
Tommy Gill, 27, fell asleep in a child's bed, surrounded by the things he planned to steal, after he took 15 Valium tablets and felt too sleepy to make his escape.
When the family returned home they noticed something was not right with the house and the 33-year-old mother began to search the property after spotting a broken window.
She told reporters: "I looked to the side of the bed where there was a mattress and saw the head of this figure.
"I couldn't believe it. I ran down the stairs saying "he's still here, he's still here". I couldn't believe he was still in my house."
The mum then called the police who arrived after a few minutes and arrested the criminal.
PC Chris Dinenage of Hampshire police said Gill's "idiocy" led to his capture.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary and will be sentenced next month at Portsmouth crown court.
In other hapless criminal news, Lee Kildare, the dwarf burglar who was arrested after getting drunk before a raid, was in court three days after his last appearance.
The tiny tearaway was arrested after trying to steal a bin liner of sweets which was three-foot three-inches tall - just eights inches smaller than him, reports the Sun.
