Drivers bite back at ban - Motorhome insurance

Motorhome owners have hit back a rule in Suffolk which bans them from a sea wall, it has emerged.
Last month, Suffolk coastal district council introduced legislation which stopped the vehicles parking on the wall at Slaughden after locals complained the motorhomes emptied chemical toilets into the sea, reports EADT 23.
However, motorhome owners have claimed they do not engage in anti-social behaviour and should be allowed on the wall.
April and Peter Martin from Cambridge told the news provider: "To ban all motor caravans from using the area even during daylight hours is discriminating against a whole section of society."
The couple suggested a pricing tariff for an overnight stay could solve the problem as it may discourage irresponsible owners.
When the ban was announced last month, Andy Smith, Suffolk coastal district council cabinet member for car parks, told the website he told motorhome owners are responsible people but the sea wall is not designed to hold the vehicles.
