Caravan blaze in Plymouth - Motorhome insurance

A caravan and boat in Plymouth have been gutted in a suspected arson attack, it has been reported.
In news which may interest motorhome insurance holders in the city, the two vehicles were torched on a lake bank in Hooe on Friday night (August 15th), according to the Plymouth Herald.
Bill Richards, the Hooe resident who alerted the emergency services, told the newspaper: "I saw a flash and a bang and saw the two go up at once.
"Prior to that I had heard people around that area - whoever did it must have used accelerants because the weather has meant everything is very wet."
Fire appliances from Greenbank and Plymstock were dispatched to the incident and extinguished the fires, although both the caravan and boat were left severely damaged.
Last week, the Skegness Standard reported that three caravan burglaries were carried out in the area over three days, which may concern the town's motorhome insurance holders.
