Oldest caravan hit 100 - Motorhome insurance

The first caravan designed to be towed behind a car is approaching its 100th birthday, although it is not known if it was covered by early form of motorhome insurance.
Currently on loan to the Motor Museum in Llangollen, the Edwardian-style holiday home's origins have recently been research by Ann and Gwilym Owen, who run the venue.
They found that the wooden vehicle was built in 1908 - seven years before 1915, which most experts consider to be the birthday of the first car-drawn caravan.
Describing it as an "important piece of British motoring heritage", Mr Owen added: "It's very much like a garden shed on wheels and I can imagine it was very cosy in its day."
Neglecting to mention any motorhome insurance issues, Mr Owen also revealed the caravan has received some improvements over the years - including new wheels and an axle from a 1930s Austin.
Last week, the Plymouth Herald reported that Susan Hall from Cattedown bought a motorhome with the money she saved when she quit smoking, as well as seeing reductions in her life and home insurance costs.
