A suspicious fire at a caravan site in east Sussex has destroyed a number of vehicles, motorhome insurance holders in the area should be aware.
The blaze at the Senlac Wood Holiday Park on Catsfield Road, Catsfield, destroyed four caravans over the weekend, according to the Rye & Battle Observer.
In addition, five other caravans were damaged by the heat from the fire, which occurred near some gas cylinders which were stored at the site.
Two fire crews from Battle and one from Bexhill were sent to the incident yesterday (August 25th), with the flames brought under control by midnight and firefighters leaving the scene in the early hours of the morning, the newspaper reports.
Investigators believe the fire may have been started deliberately and are beginning inquiries.
Last week, the Plymouth Herald reported that a caravan and boat in Hooe were damaged after a fire on a lake bank.
