Caravan planning refused - Motorhome insurance

Planning permission has been refused for a 330-caravan holiday park in County Durham, which may interest those with motorhome insurance who were considering visiting the area.
The proposals for the development near Sedgefield Village were originally recommended for approval after being submitted by Theakston Estates, the Northern Echo reports.
However, when the firm appealed after Sedgefield borough councillors voted against the recommendation, a six-day public inquiry was held at Sedgefield Racecourse in July.
The findings of the inquiry have just been released and rule out the full development, according to the news provider.
Colin Ball, planning inspector, wrote: "There is no doubt that a scheme of this nature would contribute significantly to the tourism objectives for the area and I see no real objection to the major part of the development located on the southern fields."
Mr Ball then reveals that some parts of the proposal could cause problems with "environmentally-sensitive" areas of the location, leading Theakston to suggest it make submit a new proposal based on the findings.
In recent news for those with motorcampervan insurance, the Journal reported that Blue Sky Resorts has decided to shelve an extension to a caravan park in Northumberland after local residents objected.
