Caravan site proposed for Woodhall Spa - Motorcaravan insurance

Motorcaravan insurance holders who favour the Woodhall Spa area could benefit from a new park, it has been reported.

Hundreds of people have signed a petition to East Lindsey district council over the closure of the Jubilee Park caravan site, according to the Horncastle News.

Business people in the village realised the shops and service could suffer a decrease in trade without the supply of visitors.

After receiving the petition, councillors Mick Harness and Craig Leyland revealed a local investor is investigating the possibility of opening a new caravan park on land near to the Jubilee Park site, the newspaper reports.

In addition, the council may keep the existing site open until the new park is open, in order to allow a "seamless progression" between the two locations.

Yesterday (September 2nd), the Northern Echo revealed that planning permission for a 330-caravan holiday park in County Durham has been refused after going through an appeal process.
