Flooding hits UK, caravans affected - Motorcaravan insurance

Three caravan parks in Northumberland have been affected by flooding in the area, it has emerged.
In events which may lead to motorcaravan insurance claims, holidays parks in Budle Bay, Longframlington and Wooler were caught up in flooding after the River Wansbeck burst its banks, the BBC reports.
Furthermore, around 1,000 properties were flooded in Morpeth, with more than 400 people were moved to safety and over 100 rescued from their homes by boat.
Paul Hedley, of Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service, told the news provider: "It was a scene of utter devastation."
He also revealed that some of his team could not comprehend the scale of the destruction they witnessed.
Wilbur Roberts, a Morpeth resident, added: "It's been very very stressful indeed. It's just total chaos."
According to the Guardian, the Association of British Insurers said the total cost of the recent flooding, which affected parts of north-east England, Herefordshire, Yorkshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire, could run into the "low tens of millions".
