Show caravan trashed - Motorhome insurance

In an incident which could lead to a claim on motorhome insurance, a show caravan in Mablethorpe was vandalised last week, it has been reported.

The vehicle was at the Golden Sands on Quebec Road and was the subject of an attack between Tuesday (September 2nd) night and the following morning, according to the Louth Leader.

damage to the vehicle was mainly to its furnishings, which were slashed, although the other vandalism was carried out against the interior, the newspaper reports.

Police have appealed for any witness to the incident to come forward or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

In other motorhome insurance news, a Honda generator has been stolen from a caravan in Dodford, according to the Daventry Express.

The machinery, which is red, was taken from Weedon Lane after thieves used tools to detach it from the caravan between Friday night and the next morning.

Northamptonshire police have appealed for information about the offence.
