Two holidaymakers in Cornwall have told the press they felt "intimidated" by other motorists, although their experience has not led to any claims on campervan insurance.
Lynn and Den Blackmore said a recent visit to Marazion was blighted by other drivers deliberately making noise to keep them awake, according to the Cornish Guardian.
The couple had parked their small campervan along the sea wall near to the Station House car park when the incidents in question took place.
Mrs Blackmore told the newspaper: "Our little campervan is like a second home to us. We've always found the local people helpful, friendly and pleased to see us. But our recent visit was quite different."
She said cars, a tractor and a moped drove past them honking their horns into the early hours of the morning.
When Mrs Blackmore asked a local why the incident had taken place, she was took another campervanner had been spotted throwing toilet waste away on the beach.
John Osborn, environmental protection officer at Penwith district council, told the news provider that complaints have been received about the behaviour of some holidaymakers.
Previously, EADT 24 reported that motorhomes have been banned from parking on the Slaughden Quay, near Aldeburgh, after local residents complained.
