A caravan park recently raised more than £1,000 for cancer patients, it has been reported.
Employees of the Lakeside Caravan Park in Stocks threw a two-event to raise funds for Christies and St Luke's Hospice, according to the Winsford Guardian.
The event featured stalls, in addition to a bouncy castle and tug of war competition, with the funs and games ending without any claims on motorcaravan insurance.
Park worker Tracy Mills told the newspaper: "Everyone at the park would like to thank all those who attended and helped us raise so much."
The fund-raising effort collected a total of £1,140 for the charity, bolster by some attendees shaving off their hair to gather more money.
Christies is the charity which raises money for the Christie Hospital in Manchester, which treats cancer patients as well as undertaking medical research into the condition.
Middlesex-based St Luke's Hospice opened in 2000 and has since provided free-of-charge care for more than 1,500 patients.
