A Bexhill caravan park has thrown a fun day to raise money for good causes, which some local motorhome insurance holders may have attended.
The event, at Winchelsea Beach Caravan Park, raised a total of £1,059.30 to be shared equally between Winchelsea Beach Babies and Rye Bay Football Club, according to the Bexhill Observer.
John Dudly, the park's manager, and his wife Nina arranged a series of events for the day, including in raffles, children's competitions, fancy dress and a barbecue.
He told the newspaper: "The weather was not very good at all, but everyone rallied round and made the day a big success."
Charities which the caravan park's previous events raised money for include Rye Memorial Care Centre, MacMillan nurses and Breast Cancer Research.
Earlier this week, the Winsford Guardian reported that Lakeside Caravan Park in Stocks raised £1,140 for two charities through a fun day with a bouncy castle and tug of war competition.
