Residents in Cheshire had to be evacuated from their homes last night after a fire broke out in a caravan, a source reports.
The Winsford Guardian has revealed the alarm was raised last Monday morning after a vehicle which had propane cylinders in it set alight.
Firefighters managed to tackle the flames and removed two of the bottles before the blaze took hold.
The newspaper described the move as averting a disaster, but it is not known if the vehicle is covered by motorhome insurance.
Elsewhere, a fire also broke out in a caravan in the Northamptonshire area last night, which is now being investigated by emergency services.
The Northampton Chronicle and Echo reports the vehicle was found ablaze at 20:00 BST yesterday, at the Point Caravan Park in Cogenhoe.
According to the newspaper, the caravan was "severely damaged" and caused further harm to nearby vehicles.
The Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently investigating the incident.
