Two recent incidents have seen caravans damaged by fire, which could result in motorhome insurance claims being made.
According to the Bexhill-on-Sea Observer, firefighters and police officers were called to a location in Lindfield on Saturday night (September 13th).
The emergency services attended a caravan fire on Plummerden Lane, only to find the vehicle too badly damaged to be saved.
A crew from Haywards Heath visited the scene just after 22:30 BST and revealed that they are treating the incident as arson.
In other motorhome insurance news, a caravan in Pilling has been damaged after a fire, also on Saturday evening, the Garstang Courier reports.
Firefighters from Garstang and Preesall were alerted to a fire at the Glenfield caravan site on Smallwood Hey Road, where the vehicle received damage to a section of chipboard wall.
It is believed that the fire was started by a boiler fault, with no-one reported injured during the incident.
