Norfolk caravan park reports increased demand - Campervan insurance

Campervan insurance customers may be interested to hear that a caravan site in Norfolk are seeing a surge in demand, it has been reported.

The Haven Holidays' Hopton Holiday Village, which has pitches for 700 caravans, said it experienced a 16 per cent increase in sales last year, despite the credit crunch affecting the economy, according to the Great Yarmouth Mercury.

Nathan Race, caravan sales manager, said most of the customers are families with young children or retirees looking for a retreat for weekends or long summer breaks.

The news provider also claims that campervan insurance customers and other tourists could be attracted to the holiday village due to its access to a nearby beach and leisure facilities such as heated indoor and outdoor pools, bowling green and nine-hole golf course.

Last week, the Sussex Express revealed that the Coghurst Hall Caravan Park has been denied permission for an extension over fears it could endanger nearby ancient woodland.
