Olympic windsurfer in caravan honeymoon - Campervan insurance

Olympian Nick Dempsey has revealed he is to enjoy a campervan holiday after his upcoming wedding.

In news which could interest sports fans with campervan insurance, the 26-year-old windsurfer told the Eastern Daily Press he will marry Yngling gold medallist Sarah Ayton on October 9th.

The athlete, who finished fourth in this year's Olympics after winning bronze in Athens in 2004, said he and Ms Ayton "can't wait" to marry after the "manic return" from Beijing.

Mr Dempsey told the newspaper: "We'll be wed at Moonfleet Chapel in Dorset and then we'll climb into the campervan and just go up around Scotland for a month then head down to the Alps."

He also explained that the couple intend to turn off their phones on the honeymoon, as they have been so busy in recent months.

In other Olympic-related campervan insurance news, bronze gymnastics medallist Louis Smith took a caravanning holiday in Great Yarmouth with his friends after returning from China, the BBC reports.
