Driving a motorhome is often intimidating but can be gotten used to, it has been claimed.
According to canada.com, motorhome insurance holders will have to understand how the vehicles handle before they find themselves becoming comfortable behind the wheel.
David Reid, sales manager at the Douglasdale Woody's RV World in Calgary, told the news provider: "It feels wider, but once you get used to it you'll know where the unit is."
Mr Reid continued by recommending lining a motorhome up with the marks in the road which show where traffic tends to drive to ensure the vehicle stays in the correct lane.
He applauded the technology the modern motorhome insurance customer is faced with, telling the news provider: "Today's 40-foot motorhome will turn sharper than a 35-foot motorhome would have 20 years ago."
The expert also pointed out how rare motorhome accidents are, citing the slower speeds they tend to travel at and the range of vision the higher driver's seat provides as reasons.
Recently, the Wirral News revealed country musician Charlie Landsborough is to tour the UK in a motorhome to support his new album.
