Caravan park told to take flags down - Campervan insurance

A caravan park manager has slammed north Wales council for ordering him to take down five Welsh flags, which may interest campervan insurance holders holidaying in the area.
The Golden Gate Holiday Park caravan park at Towyn Road, Towyn near Rhyl has flown six of the flags for the past decade, according to the Daily Post.
However, a Conwy county council official has ordered general manager Jonathan Seldon, to take five down, saying he needs planning permission to fly more than one.
Mr Seldon told the newspaper: "It's disgusting. The flags at the entrance of the park gave our visitors a colourful, warm Welsh welcome."
When question, Conwy council told the news provider it has not banned Welsh flags and would only consider prosecuting the park if it had unauthorised advertising hoardings in its forecourt.
Earlier this month, the Tree Tops Caravan Park in Gwespyr won a Bellamy Gold Award for operating in an environmentally-friendly manner.
