Police have launched a search after a caravan was stolen in Hull, it has been reported.
According to the Hull Daily Mail, officers are looking for thieves who used a pick-up truck to steal the vehicle from a home on Anlaby Road in the west of the city, which may interest local people with motorhome insurance.
The Besiker-Cameo caravan, which is white, is thought to have been taken by a gang of six to eight men who used a van and a black four-by-four in the heist.
After attaching the vehicle to the pick-up truck at 16:25 GMT yesterday (November 23rd), the criminals made their escape towards Anlaby Common, the newspaper reveals.
In addition to the caravan, the thieves made off with personal items contained in the recreational vehicle - which also held the family pet hamster.
Earlier this month, the Western Telegraph revealed ZedTen in Pembroke was the target of a raid which saw thieves make off with a caravan worth £21,000.
