Keep caravan safe and locked up ? motorhome insurance quote

People who want to try to reduce their motorhome insurance quote should get a wheel lock and fit an alarm.
Discover Leisure has warned caravan owners to be vigilant this winter and protect vehicles from theft.
The company advises owners to immobilise the caravan, even if only leaving it for a short time, by fixing a clamp to the wheel.
An alarm is also a good precaution and vehicle owners should ensure they set it at all times.
Other methods advised are taking valuable out of the caravan, to ensure they are not on show, and not leaving registration papers on display, as it can make it easier for a thief to sell it on.
Fitting a tracking device is another good way to reduce theft risk, the company states, and if it is stolen the equipment can help to find the vehicle.
Notifying neighbours when you are holidaying without the caravan means they can keep an eye on the vehicle and alert you as soon as possible if it is missing.
Tracker, the UK leader in stolen vehicle tracing, has recently helped the Durham police force to make 15 arrests in 12 months with the use of its device.
