Bikers flocked to the 19th annual Bulldog Bash in their thousands, in Stratford at the weekend. Despite the wet conditions on the Saturday, bikers from countries including France, Germany and Australia made their way to Long Marston Airfield for their annual pilgrimage at the Shakespeare County Raceway. Police in Warwickshire have praised the behaviour of the 30,000 bikers who attended. Two Harley Davidson motorcycles were stolen on Saturday, but aside from this only petty crimes posed a problem. They said the vast majority of riding during the bash was exemplarary. Only two crashes and one casualty were reported. The three-day show, which finished on Sunday, is the biggest of its type in Europe. Owners are still reminded of the importance of motorbike insurance before taking their bike to any event where theft or accident pose a risk.
