Birmingham is set to host the International Motorcycle and Scooter show in two weeks time, following on from the success of the Paris Show. The French event acted as a preview to the International exhibition, showcasing many new models from the "Big Four" manufacturers Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha. However, there will still be plenty of exclusive world launches left for the show at Birmingham's NEC. British-based BMW Motorrad will showcase the world premier of its new model, although details are being kept tightly under wraps until the launch. Motorcycle enthusiasts will also be admiring Yamaha's new YZF-R6R model, which is reportedly "bristling with MotoGP technology". Many eyes will also be on Honda's revised Fireblade, whilst Kawasaki will unveil their ER-6f, ZZR1400, VN Classic and KX450F to a wide-eyed British audience. The cream of British motorcycling talent will also be gathering at the NEC, as Birmingham plays host to the British Superbike Awards on Tuesday November 1st. Memorable and dramatic video footage is set to accompany the crowning of all of the 2005 British Champions live on stage, as the official climax to the 2005 season.
