Topless bikers take to the streets

Thousands of spectators lined the usually squeaky clean streets of Auckland last week, to enjoy the spectacle of bare-breasted porn stars parading on motorbikes.
Over 30 porn stars rode pillion with their breast assets bared for the Boobs on Bikes parade through Auckland's city centre.
The lunchtime event was used to promote Auckland's annual Erotica Expo, a sex industry convention.
Controversy was sparked prior to the event, after organizer Steve Crow was given the go-ahead from local councillors.
Although exposing breasts in public is not an offence in New Zealand, conservative councillors and family groups were opposed to the bike display.
Such reservations were far from the minds of a large crowd of businessmen, schoolboys and Japanese tourists who braved the winter breeze to line Queen Street and catch a glimpse of the partially leather-clad bikers.
No arrests were made as the cavalcade braved wintry conditions and a well-natured crowd. Four thousand manufacturing trade unionists were also offered a glimpse into the life of sex industry workers as they protested at a rally nearby.
