Italian super-bike company Ducati has announced the release of the stirring 2007 Monster S4R Testastretta.
Boasting an incredible 130 HP, a full 23 HP gain over the one that went before, this bike is truly not for the timid.
The same deep sump L-twin engine that powers all the Testastretta's can be found in the S4R, however the front end has been redone, with radial mount Brembo calipers and completely adjustable inverted Showa forks.
Ducati states: "The S4R Testastretta has the traditional clean lines that define the Monster family, and retains the twin vertically stacked shotgun style silencers and aluminum alloy single-sided swing-arm.
"New for 2007 are Y-shaped five spoke rims that improve the rigidity/weight ratio and reduce unsprung weight, which result in better handling."
The S4R has also gone on a major diet, managing to shed around ten pounds of dry weight.
The Ducati Monster S4R Testasretta is available in dealerships now and will retail for approximately £7,000.
