The annual Essex Air Ambulance motorcycle run zoomed its way through Harwich over the weekend, in an effort to raise money for the service.
Seaside town Harwich hosted a special day of fun for the event, the seventh motorcycle run in a row, the East Anglian Daily Times (EADT) reports.
Harwich town centre was closed to cars for the duration of the event.
David Crozier, the director of Essex Air Ambulance, told the EADT: "The popularity of the Essex Air Ambulance motorcycle run has built up over a number of years.
"It has established itself as one of the top events in the charity's calendar and is probably one of the most important motorcycle events to take place in the county."
The slogan of this year's run is "keep your chopper up", thought up by Southend motorcycle enthusiast Paul Cruddington.
Cruddington, who rides a Kawasaki ZX6, sustained a crash last June and was airlifted to the local hospital by the Cambridge Air Ambulance.
