Thousands of Britain's motorcyclists brought London traffic to halt this weekend as they roared from the Ace Cafe to the House of Commons to bring attention to the hazard that spilled diesel poses to bikers.
Over 5,000 riders, escorted by Metropolitan Police outriders, made up a convoy which measured up to two miles long.
The route went from London's North Circular, down Park Lane and past Buckingham Palace, The Mall, Trafalgar Square and on up to Victoria Embankment.
KillSpills organiser Stephen Edwards said: "Fantastic! It's a lot of hard work but without my team, the marshals, the police and the support of the British Motorcycle Federation (BMF), it just wouldn’t have happened.
"The number of riders turning out proves we have struck a chord on the diesel menace, we now want to see action from government - that will be the real achievement."
According to the Department for Transport there are 1.2 million motorcycle and scooter riders in the UK.
