Rides for sale on 'the limousine of motorbikes'

A north-west biker is to offer rides around the countryside on his Honda Goldwing 1800cc, a model he has labelled "the limousine among the motorbikes".

For those with an hour to spare and £120 burning a hole in their pockets, Ray Borg will drive you around the sights of South Ribble, reports Leyland Today.

Awarded a private hire licence recently, the biking enthusiast is part of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and also spends his time teaching drivers how to be responsible on the roads.

And his lucky passengers will be able to listen to relaxing music through specially-fitted speakers to enhance the experience.

"I love motorcycling, mainly because you're out in the open air and you feel free and can enjoy the countryside," he said.

"The way it works is that we would pick the customer up and then take them to wherever they want for an hour or longer."

Let's hope they enjoy the luxuries of the Goldwing. With a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, six-cylinder engine and five-speed gearbox which includes overdrive and electric reverse, how could they not?
