Winning in the popularity stakes this week is the Ducati 1098, which has recently been voted as the most beautiful bike at an exhibition in Milan.
According to Motorcycle News, the 1098 secured the title at the EICMA show in Italy after more than 24,000 people voted in a survey by Italian magazine Motociclismo.
And it could be for a number of reasons, as the 1098 is the lightest and quickest-stopping bike in Ducati's history, featuring track-derived design and components.
Ducati claims that at every step of the 1098's development, the makers put "performance first" to produce "stunning" results.
The twin-cylinder bike also features a Testrastretta Evoluzione engine which is the most powerful engine used yet by Ducati, while the brake wheels and body use racing technology from Brembo Monobloc to increase rigidity and resistance.
The EICMA show ran from November 14th-19th and welcomed over 500,000 visitors.
