Go green with ENV

A hydrogen-powered motorbike has been created which is due to go on sale sometime in 2007.
The zero-cylinder ENV bike from Intelligent Energy runs on a removable fuel cell, using technology that has so far only been integrated with four-wheeled vehicles, reports Wired.
Although the top speed for now is only 50 mph, it emits almost completely clean water as a by-product instead of harmful chemicals, making it a very eco-friendly bike.
And the moderate speed may seem fast as the frame weighs just 176 lbs, being constructed of aircraft-standard, hollow-cast aluminium. It is constructed around the fuel-cell which gives a good kick of six kilowatts of power.
The green machine uses this power through a single gear, which should pave the way for a smooth, clutch-free ride.
It can run on a tank of hydrogen which gives around 100 miles driving in urban areas, lasting about four hours before needing to be refuelled.
