Lots of people have lucky numbers, but for World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss, it looks as though it's 21.
The Aussie star has announced that he'll be riding under the number yet again for the forthcoming championship, after having used number one in 2001, reports Motorcycle News.
But, he said, changing to number one after he was crowned as the winner that year was not such a good move, because he promptly went and lost the title in 2002 to Colin Edwards.
"I think the fans like to see the number one plate out there," he told the website.
"But I feel good riding with the number 21 and every time I've had that it's been kind to me so I'll give it another shot this year and in 2008 as well."
The newly-released 2007 World Superbike entry list includes Lorenzo Lanzi riding under number 57, Shinichi Nakatomi with number 38 and Troy Corser with number 11.
