Two wheels, ten days, thousands of miles and thousands of pounds for charity. This is the plan for a UK businessman completing a sponsored motorbike ride for Macmillan Cancer Support. Paul Rich will be saddling up and hitting the road on an epic 3,700-mile tour of the UK this summer, accompanied by his mate John Allan, the Royston Mercury reports. Setting off from sunny Colchester, the pair are planning to complete something like 370 miles a day before returning to their starting point on July 21st 2007. They hope to drum up more than £5,000 in sponsorship money which will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support. Having lost both his parents to cancer 40 year old Paul hopes to give back to the charity, which helped in the past. "Cancer touches almost everyone's lives these days," he told the newspaper. "It's amazing how generous some people are when they know who we're raising for." Paul and John will be setting of on their journey on July 11th 2007.
