A local motorbike rider hailing from Morecambe is making even more tracks in the pro circuit, having signed a deal with Honda UK and making a return to Supersport racing for the first time in five years. John McGuinness definitely isn't looking back as he races ahead with championship dreams, riding for Padgett's Motorcycles in the upcoming Supersport class, the Lancaster Guardian reports With the British Championships ready to kick of in April it's all go for McGuiness in 2007. "It's taken a while but I've finally been able to put together a deal for 2007 and I'm over the moon with the way it's all turned out," he told the newspaper. "The British Championships is still very important to me and getting a good ride there was crucial so it was just a question of sorting out which team I'd be riding for." Looks like Honda got lucky in nabbing the 34-year-old rider who is widely tipped for big things this year and won a hat trick of accolades last year.
