Hornet returns with a sting in its tail

Honda has proved that there's no harm in bringing back an old classic - albeit with a total makeover.
New for 2007, the manufacturer has presented the biking world the new CB600F Hornet, which has been revamped to fulfil three goals - have a leading performance, be cool and be easy for bikers to ride, reports Motorcycle News (MCN).
While it is still based on the classic CBR600RR, it has a reworked cylinder head and a lighter but more powerful engine.
Riders can now benefit from an aluminium chassis as opposed to a steel one, with two brake options and, for an additional payment, an antilock braking system.
Adam Child of MCN took it for a test drive and found the fuelling to be "faultless" and a potential "favourite among inexperienced riders".
The Japanese manufacturer is offering the Hornet for a price of approximately £5,000, so fans of the brand had best start saving.
Honda markets the CBR series of bikes as sport-oriented and indicates whether each is based on a race vehicle by the letters "RR" (for "race replica") after the model number.
