Give your bike a tune up

Bikers who consider themselves to be musically minded could find the ideal outlet with Bennetts - sponsors of the British Superbike Championship.

Bennetts is calling for bikers to contribute to the first-ever orchestra made up of motorcycles.

And the company wants clips of riders revving their engines and beeping their horns to music, with the search for the "finest revving talent" led by conductor and composer Steven Montague.

The Bennetts Bike Orchestra can feature track bikes, choppers, scooters or stunt bikes, with the winners set to perform at a round of the championship in front of thousands of fans.

Set up to encourage safety awareness on the road, Bennetts can provide motorcycle insurance in addition to campaigns such as this one, entitled Rev For A Reason.

"As a keen biker myself, I hope we can entertain people with a novel piece of music that not only entertains but also raises awareness of bikers on the road," said Mr Montague.

So far, 1,123 riders have signed up for the challenge.
