John Travolta, best known for his roles in Saturday Night Fever and Grease, has donated a custom-built motorbike to an auction in Florida.
The star autographed the Harley-Davidson, modelled on the one he used in new biker movie Wild Hogs, with the plan to donate the funds raised to a theatre near his home in Ocala.
However, a number of other items from the film, which also stars William H. Macy and Tim Allen, are set to go under the hammer, including a signed motorbike helmet and leather jacket, hoped to raise even more cash for the Marion Theatre.
March 2nd saw a premiere of the comedy in Ocala, where Travolta and his wife, the lovely Kelly Preston, drove down the red carpet in the soon-to-be auctioned hog.
In addition to his bike skills, fans may be surprised to learn that the actor is also a trained pilot who owns five planes and has a rather convenient runway on his driveway.
