MCN reveals top ten accessories

A facelift of Motorcycle News' (MCN's) website may give bike fans an effective way of deciding which piece of kit to save up for next.

The user-rated top ten lists the most-viewed equipment and accessories that might be on riders' wish-lists.

Topping the list currently is the Sidi Vertebra Race Carbon boot, which has many attractive features including a soft leather lining. Pairs are retailing at £225, according to MCN.

A natty pair of Thinsulate-lined gloves is running in second place, priced £34.99 and named the Hein Gericke Pathan 3 Gloves.

Silencing technology is the third most popular item on today's list; the Akrapovic SP end can slips onto the bike and is also equipped with carbon-fibre heat shields.

Dynojet has four entries in the chart, with a number of models of its Power Commander system available at £268.
