Superbike legend Carl Fogarty is set to arrive in Scarborough this week after participating in a charity motorcycle ride.
Foggy, as he known to many fans, will take part in an event called the Golden Ride, which travels from Cumbria to Scarborough by way of fields, country lanes and private tracks.
He'll be one of 12 bikers attempting the course, with the proceeds intended to go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
"I am really looking forward to the ride, not only because it should be a lot of fun but also because we are hoping to raise a lot of money for such a worthy cause," said Fogarty.
"The Air Ambulance team does a fantastic job in the region … let's just hope we don't need them during the trip."
Fogarty, who is originally from Blackburn, retired from racing in 2000.
