Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 released - with new changes
Kawasaki has released it 2008 ZZ-R1400 model and states it has made a number of changes to come into line with emissions rules, it has been reported.
Externally the motorbike is the same as its predecessor, with the wheels, brakes suspension, bodywork and other elements of the chassis remaining the same as they were on the 2006-07 model, reports Motorcycle News.
However, the engine has undergone a series of changes, according to the publication, but specifics have not been elaborated upon.
Kawasaki has only stated that the exhausts and engine have been changed - meaning the bike will have more top-end power, a smoother power surge in the mid-range and increased low-rpm torque.
In related news, a photo showing the new 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R sporting a colour scheme other than the traditional green was displayed on the Motorcycle News website today, in which the motorbike was shown in a metallic blue.
