Yamaha reveals concept motorcycles for Tokyo Motor Show

Yamaha has revealed a number of new concept bikes that will be displayed at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show which will begin later this month.
To be shown as part of a display on the art of engineering, the firm will exhibit six special models in the fuel cell and electric-powered vehicle categories, it asserts.
Included in the show will be the FC-Dii fuel cell model, which is an "evolution" of the FC-me model that uses a methanol-water solution as fuel, states the company.
And features of the new model include an exclusive compact cell stack that features the highest level of power density in the 1 kW class, a fuel cell system that achieves a top-level performance of 30 per cent system efficiency for a direct methanol fuel cell system and a detachable lithium-ion battery for simple recharging.
It was recently reported by Motorcycle News magazine that Kawasaki released its new ZZ-R1400 model, which included a number of environmentally-friendly features.
